At 22, Amadou Onana is living everyday like it’s his last. Leading a wave of ballers on a mission to show the world they’re more than just football players, the Belgian is determined to give his all in everything he does.

“Back in the day, football players were just seen as football players,” the Belgian tells us in our latest cover story. “Now, people understand we can do a lot more than that. Football doesn’t define us. Football is not who I am, but what I do and what I love.”

“Previously, football players were only seen as football players. Now, people understand we can do a lot more than that.”

“I always say to myself ‘tomorrow, everything can end”. Whatever I’m going after, I’ve got to go at it one hundred percent.

“As long as I feel comfortable in it, I will wear anything. If I find it fire, I’mma rock it.”

“I want people to remember me as the footballer player I am. But more importantly, remember the person I am. Football is great, but there’s a life after it. I want to be remembered for way more than just football.”
